3. Local Storage and Offline Use
ShootersToolbox stores application records in a local database on your device.
The app does not require a cloud account or cloud synchronization for normal use. ShootersToolbox does not automatically upload your firearm inventory, load data, range records, shot records, notes, photographs, or ballistic records to servers operated by Skeptical Veteran Software.
Your device operating system may include its own backup or restoration features. Depending on your device settings, application files or data may be included in a platform-managed backup. Those services are controlled by your operating-system or device provider and are governed by that provider’s privacy policy and settings.
4. Location, Weather, and Environmental Information
ShootersToolbox may use location information when you choose to use features involving ranges, weather, or environmental conditions.
Location information may be used to:
- Associate a range or range card with a location
- Identify your current location when requested
- Retrieve weather or environmental information
- Support range-day and ballistic records
- Improve the accuracy or convenience of user-entered session information
ShootersToolbox uses location only when you select a feature that requires it and grant the necessary permission through your device.
When a weather, mapping, or environmental feature is used, location information or a selected place may be transmitted to the applicable third-party service to complete the request.
Skeptical Veteran Software does not sell your location information.
You may deny or revoke location permission through your device settings. Some location-dependent features may not function without permission.
5. Photographs, Files, Imports, and Exports
ShootersToolbox may allow you to:
- Attach firearm or equipment photographs
- Store target images
- Import chronograph CSV files
- Import or merge shot information
- Export records or reports
- Create database backups
- Restore previously created backups
- Share files through applications installed on your device
Files you select for import may be read and processed by ShootersToolbox for the purpose requested.
Files you export or share are controlled by you. Once a file leaves ShootersToolbox, it may be handled by the destination application or service you selected, including email applications, file managers, cloud-storage providers, messaging services, or backup tools.
Those third-party applications and services are governed by their own privacy policies.
6. Automatically Collected Information
ShootersToolbox does not intentionally collect personal analytics, advertising identifiers, or user activity for sale to third parties.
Your operating system, app store, device manufacturer, or platform provider may independently process technical information associated with application installation and operation. Depending on your device and settings, this may include:
- Installation and update information
- Application version
- Device type and operating-system version
- Purchase or licensing information

ShootersToolbox does not sell user data.
ShootersToolbox does not use firearm inventory, ammunition records, load data, range records, shot records, location history, photographs, or reloading information for advertising profiling.
If advertising, analytics, or optional monetization services are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe those services before or when they are introduced.

11. Data Security
ShootersToolbox is designed to keep user records stored locally on the device. Reasonable care is taken to protect information during the app’s normal operation.
However, no application, device, database, backup system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You can help protect your information by:
- Using a secure device lock screen
- Keeping your operating system and applications updated
- Limiting access to your device

- Delete individual records within the app
- Clear the app’s data through device settings
- Uninstall the app

Uninstalling ShootersToolbox generally removes locally stored application data, subject to your operating system’s backup and restoration behavior.
Exported, shared, or backed-up copies must be deleted separately from every location where you stored or transmitted them.
ShootersToolbox does not currently require a user account. Therefore, there is generally no server-based account or cloud profile for Skeptical Veteran Software to delete.

Any load information, ballistic calculations, stability estimates, spin-drift estimates, or related values should be independently verified through current, trusted sources.
Users are responsible for confirming that all ammunition, components, loads, and firearm configurations are safe and appropriate for their equipment and intended use.
16. Children’s Privacy
ShootersToolbox is not directed to children under 13.
The app is intended for adult firearm owners, reloaders, hunters, sport shooters, range users, and other lawful adult users.
Skeptical Veteran Software does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
