very shooter has made this promise.
“I’ll clean the guns when I get home.”
It sounds responsible in the moment. Then you get home, set everything down, tell yourself you’ll do it tomorrow, and somehow tomorrow turns into six months later.
At that point, the rifle isn’t even dirty anymore. It’s basically preserving its own history.
