Context

As a soldier, I swore an oath to the Constitution, not to a president.

As a veteran, I’m appalled by how far some people will go to excuse or defend one man’s actions simply because he is “their guy.” Loyalty to a person should never come before loyalty to the principles and limits that oath was meant to protect.
