Nothing captures the veteran experience quite like being asked to prove that the injury documented in your service records, treated while you were in uniform, and recorded by military medical staff was somehow connected to your military service.
You dig through service records, medical notes, personal statements, buddy letters, and C&P exams just to answer a question that feels like it should’ve already been settled on page one.
At a certain point, the whole process starts to feel less like filing a claim and more like solving a bureaucratic scavenger hunt designed by people who already have the answer.
