“Limited government” sounds great right up until the government wants a searchable network of cameras quietly tracking where everyone drives. If you’re skeptical of government power, that skepticism probably shouldn’t disappear just because the surveillance is marketed as crime prevention or public safety. Rights and privacy are easiest to defend before the infrastructure for abuse is already in place.
